The 405 grain Fracturing Revenant variant is an advanced 8.6 Blackout cartridge incorporating a NAS3 hybrid case and a purpose-built, mechanically fracturing projectile designed to exploit the rotational forces generated by 1:3 twist barrels. Upon impact, the projectile initiates controlled structural segmentation, producing multiple high-mass fragments while retaining a central penetrator. This engineered fracture pattern maximizes terminal performance by increasing wound channel surface area, enhancing energy distribution, and accelerating hydraulic displacement in soft-tissue environments.

The use of a NAS3 case provides reduced weight, improved tensile strength, and consistent extraction reliability across a wide range of operating conditions. Manufactured to strict dimensional tolerances, the 405 gr Fracturing Revenant Variant delivers predictable internal ballistics, reliable rotational stability in fast-twist barrels, and optimized terminal behavior for users requiring rapid energy transfer and enhanced incapacitation profiles.

I don’t want to sound like I’m overstating it, but these are unreal. I did some work yesterday on a Q Fix, trying various cartridges to see what it likes and the Revenant was among them. After zeroing each one, I’d target a 1.5” thick mild steel swinger(20lbs+) I’ve got set up at about 90ish yards. My other 8.6 cartridges were certainly impressive with energy delivered but these Revenants were next level. They moved the plate like my 300gr .338 Lapua does. Damn near swung it up and over the top. These are incredibly quiet through my Dead Air Nomax and hit like a city bus. Also, of the four or five loads I tried out, these were the most consistent on target. I’ll definitely be running these as my primary though my Fix.
