The 404 Revenant Expander is a purpose-engineered 8.6 Blackout cartridge utilizing a NAS3 hybrid case and a proprietary triple-diameter expanding projectile. Designed for controlled terminal performance, the projectile initiates uniform expansion upon impact, transitioning through three staged diameter zones to maximize energy transfer while maintaining structural integrity. The NAS3 case provides enhanced corrosion resistance, reduced weight, and improved extraction reliability under adverse conditions.
This cartridge is intended for use in modern firearms chambered for 8.6 Blackout and is manufactured to precise dimensional tolerances to ensure consistent internal ballistics and predictable terminal behavior. The 404 Revenant Expander is suited for applications requiring regulated expansion, retained mass, and precise point-of-impact performance.

Most powerful subsonic 8.6 on the market...
While there were some initial hiccups getting this ammo (something fell through the cracks when shipping?), this is GORGEOUS AMMO. I kid you not. I've handled 8.6 from a number lf manufacturers, and while most reasonably professional ammo manufacturers whoakw this cartridge do solid work...this legitimately FEELS different. The shellshock cases have a more solid feel than brass. The deeply seated 404 gr copper bullet doesn't feel front heavy because it fills so much of the case it is actually BALANCED! That's something I never considered with ammo this unique, it's solid, from round to round consistency is almost perfect. With some other subsonic cartridges I've shot and collected, the front heaviness coupled with softness of the brass gets me a tiny but worried that the rigors of feeding in a semi auto could cause nose dives leading to hyper compression and dangerous pressure Spikes, bent necks or bent noses. But these don't feel like they're as vulnerable to these sorts of problems. Note: I expect these might be a bit "hot" in a semi auto. So YMMV, watch for pressure signs or tuning issues..BUT, when tuning an 8.6 semi auto you typically either want to play with your adjustable gas regardless you're looking for that sweet spot where it'll run subs but won't beat itself up on supers. The benefit here is you can just run a hotter sub like this and it should hit that sweet spot in your gas system just right. The NAS3 cases should prevent most pressure spikes from causing damage to your action. I can't wait to try their NAS3 supersonics. Either should be able to kill anything on earth.
